Following the success of “Nouveaux regards sur le canal du Midi” and artist Yoël Jimenez’s exhibition dedicated to the restoration of the canal du Midi, which were both shown along the canal for several years, the Voies Navigables de France patronage program is holding two new exhibitions to show the canal du Midi at its very best and raise awareness of its replanting project. These are “A l’ombre du canal du Midi,” a collection of photographs by Daniel Banon, and “Lumières du Midi,” featuring watercolor reproductions by painter Patrice Rouzière. The exhibitions are open until the end of September at the Port la Nouvelle media library and Nailloux Outlet Village
