Last year, the Heritage Mission, supported by the Heritage Foundation and Stéphane Bern, revealed the sums to be granted to the 101 winning sites of 2020. Among them are two VNF restoration projects, including the former freight booking office in Conflans Sainte-Honorine, Yvelines, which was granted €292,000.
Voies Navigables de France would like to thank the Heritage Foundation for supporting the preservation of the historically and technically significant structures that line the waterways of France and make VNF a key player in promoting the country’s heritage.
To celebrate this partnership, we are pleased to invite you to the Château du Prieuré in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine on Thursday, October 21, 2021:
- 6:30 pm Opening remarks by the Mayor of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, Laurent Brosse
- 6:45 pm Speeches by members of VNF and the Heritage Foundation
- 7:30 pm Drinks and hors-d’oeuvres
To keep river heritage alive, the VNF patronage program, in partnership with the Heritage Foundation, has launched a call for donations so that this remarkable feat of engineering can be restored.
We would like to say a big thank you to all those who have already shown their support. Through their generosity, they are playing an active role in the co-creation of this project of general interest alongside Voies Navigables de France, and are demonstrating their strong ties to the region.
